:: the fruit of the spirit

Isn't this just beautiful. I love it. A good reminder of all of the things I constantly need to work on to glorify God in my spirit.

This is a journal entry from Liyin the Designer in Pajamas, from her flickr photostream found via Pinterest. The creativity of some people just amazes me....If only I had a smidgeon of this girls creativity I would be so happy. She's absolutely amazing. Don't you think?

Things aren't quite going as I would like right now, I can feel the wheels coming off....which means it's time to get on my knees and pray.  I can always tell when I'm getting too far away from God, just by how crazy and unhinged my life begins to feel. Not sure why I can't just get things right and constantly start my days off with Christ as my center....but I don't....even though I know that it's the only thing that keeps me on track. So please if you will, pray for me that I will practice what I know to be the only way. Now please excuse me while I go pray.

:: 180 degrees of change

I just watched this video today, and never have I heard or seen a more compelling arguement against abortion.This is something I feel so strongly about. I have had so many reasons and arguments for why it is wrong, but somehow people will still hold onto their own distorted views on the subject. 

Well, this video will change all of that...there is just no arguing against this logic. Definitely a must see, and if you are like me and believe in the right to life please share this video, and spread the word.

:: do not worry

This is my absolute favorite bible verse,

and it looks like I'm not alone...this artwork is by Cory Say 

Now I have to find out how to get this in print.

From my very first experience doing a bible study, and really reading the bible for that matter, this verse has always been near & dear to my heart. I even wrote it in calligraphy on a little piece of paper and kept it as a bookmark in my bible. I was so lucky to have someone with a strong spiritual life to introduce me to Christ and his teachings...that was about 16 years ago, and that person was my now Sister in Law.

She is the most beautiful person inside and out, and has always had a faith that I've admired.

If only we could always remember to live like this, our lives would be full of so much more peace. I guess that's what I love so much about it, it gives me peace. I've always been such a worrier, but the Lord has definitely worked on my in this area because I'm no where near where I used to be.

So.....Let Go.....Let God.
